JL Taylor Consulting can help provide small and new nonprofits establish or improve processes and acquire resources so they can successfully deliver their services, year after year.
SEVEN THINGS JL TAYLOR CONSULTING VALUES ARE:
-
Valuable resources need to be distributed equitably.
-
Transparency to Nonprofit’s constituents, supporters, board, and staff is always a top priority.
-
We all have room to learn and grow from each other.
-
We are all made in the image of God (is this too personal?)
-
Provide as much value to my clients as possible, without overhead costs.
-
Great programs can come from small ideas.
-
Nonprofits should partner, collaborate and even merge when programs are duplicated. This saves administrative costs and gives more to programs.

Janice Taylor
I am passionate about equity in serving the underserved in the Kansas City metro.
After 40+ years in IT (30+ years in management) leading corporate projects, implementations, and integrations, I felt the desire to serve in a different capacity. I received from Rockhurst University my BA in Nonprofit Leadership with an emphasis in fundraising and a leadership certification in 2014. I’ve served on a board for a NP with a maternal healthcare clinic in Haiti, While my family has a couple of decades of history related to Haiti, I am passionate about equity in serving the underserved in the Kansas City metro. While working as Director of Development at a NP serving the urban core, I realized there are many more organizations with the heart to change dynamics for those without access to so many resources. But many of these are just starting, new, small and don’t have the capacity to hire staff or large consulting firms to help them become sustainable. My desire is to share what I can to help them along their journey.

JL TAYLOR CONSULTING addresses each client's needs uniquely. I seek to add value to your non-profit organization through:

-

-
Review existing development processes, resources, and collateral. Create an annual development plan to guide an organization in diversifying and setting fundraising goals.
-
